Daniel Pitts is a seasoned cinematographer with a dynamic career spanning over 15 years in the film industry. Beginning his journey in 2008 as an actor, Daniel’s passion for storytelling and visual artistry quickly led him behind the camera, where his expertise has grown exponentially.
A graduate of VAS in 2015, Daniel has honed his craft across more than 50 feature productions, specializing in the lighting and camera departments. From intimate Hallmark projects to monumental series like HBO’s The Last of Us, Daniel has gained a wealth of experience and knowledge. He credits much of his growth to the incredible mentors he’s worked alongside, whose lessons he applies to his own projects with a focus on adaptability and precision.
Beyond his technical expertise, Daniel is a natural leader, combining filmmaking acumen with life skills to create a collaborative, respectful, and safe on-set environment.
